About Us

Located in Lincoln Park, the Tomato head Pizza Kitchen has been serving pizza and great food since 1998. It's a neighborhood place where the food is real, the customers are friends, and the pizza is GREAT!

Chicago Sun Times' Pat Bruno says:

"That's the way it goes at Tomato head Pizza Kitchen. Nothing fancy about the decor (call it a real pizza joint). Service is smiling, cheerful and neighborhood nice. And then there is all of that good food at very reasonable prices. Place your order at the counter, sit back and relax."

Cheap Eats: Tomato head Pizza Kitchen
Fresh, perfectly crisp pizzas and more

Chicago is home to 1.3 billion pizza parlors -- or so it sometimes seems, with most every neighborhood boasting at least one. For those who live by pizza alone, this is a good thing. For the rest of us, a pizzeria that balances its menu with a few other items and serves them up in a comfortable atmosphere is even better.

That's the deal at Tomato head Pizza Kitchen. It recalls the good things about the pizza joint at your alma mater, an elbows-on-the-table kind of place where everyone can feel comfortable. And a good number of the diners at Tomato head are students from nearby DePaul University. They are drawn, along with folks from the neighborhood, to Tomato head's simply prepared food served inexpensively. No tablecloths. No glitz.
